  "map_content": "I had my third baby at home with a midwife in Wisconsin USA. By helping me, she was doing something illegal according to Wisconsin statutes. That did not bother me nor did it bother her but we had to be somewhat underground about it. She did not have a website I simply had her phone number and got recommendations from other moms by word of mouth. I talked with her before I chose her, asked her a lot of important questions. I have tried to find her over the years but she is unfindable. I've moved several times since or I'd likely still be in touch through the handful of crossover communities I found her from. All of this to say.. there has been a ton of Lay Midwife (what we called unregulated homebirth midwifery at the time) regulation since then, the landscape has massively changed. I often wonder about Cindy & Laurie, the ladies who helped bring my child into the world.",
