"map_content": "Omniology and Religion: by Lee Yang Hee\r\n\r\nAs I introduce the theological doctrine of \"omniology,\" and frequently talk about the providence of the universe, many readers often ask me what my religion is.\r\n\r\nTo tell you the story, my maternal side of the family was already a pioneer in the spread of Christianity in Korea in the late 19th century, as pastors, and their descendants are all Christians and many of them are serving in the priesthood. Also, my mother, who is now over 90, went to Pyongyang and attended a seminary, and is a Christian. My two older sisters are also very active in church life. \r\nHowever, when I was young, I didn't go to church on Sundays because I wanted to play, and as an adult, I didn't go to church because I felt a deep aversion to worship services and church members. However, I really enjoyed reading the Bible, and not only was I able to learn many truths through it, but the Bible also gave me an interest in and understanding of religion in general, so I was once fascinated by religious philosophy, Hinduism, and spiritual science, and was able to have various high-level experiences during my long life of yogic meditation. Currently, although I do not set aside a specific time or necessarily sit cross-legged, contemplation and meditation occupy a lot of time in my life.\r\nConventionally, a religious person must be registered in a religion and participate in its religious ceremonies. However, if we look at the fundamental nature of religion, religion is something that an enlightened person has organized and disciplined in order to widely teach his enlightenment to the public. Most of the leaders of major religions have mastered the providence of the universe and have reached a high level of unity between God and man, and their doctrines suggest a path that can lead to the same level of perfection as them. Therefore, once you understand the true meaning of any religion\u2019s doctrine, it suggests the right path that humans should take. \r\nHowever, the birthplace of religion is different, and it is formed based on the cultural background of each religion\u2019s ceremonial structure, linguistic structure, and lifestyle habits. Therefore, although the ceremonies and doctrines of each religion may seem very different on the surface, they are all the same in essence. \r\nHowever, the problem of religion does not lie in its basic doctrines, but in its unimportant religious ceremonies and organization. Especially for believers of low level, deep truth is not visible, so the ritual and organizational power of each religion are perceived as the identity of the religion. \r\nTherefore, because they insist on the religion they belong to in order to expand their influence, unpleasant situations are created. In fact, there are many paths that lead to human perfection. Therefore, those who insist that their own path is the only right path are foolish, narrow-minded, and ignorant. In reality, it does not matter which path one takes for human perfection, and no matter which path one takes, how hard one works will produce results that promote the development of that person. \r\nEveryone has different levels, abilities, talents, personalities, and hobbies, and if each person diligently explores and lives according to their tastes, they will eventually gradually approach perfection. Not only religion, science, philosophy, and art, but also ordinary people who do not have a special major but farm or live in various means of subsistence eventually gradually grow toward perfection.\r\nSo, in the end, all humans experience various things in their daily lives, and these experiences are very diverse, such as things that make them happy, things that make them feel dissatisfied, anxious, and unhappy, and they always live while trying to experience happier things. \r\nAs they live like this, they eventually accumulate the virtues of truth, goodness, and beauty, and when these virtues reach a high level, the informatic body of the universe and the informatic body of humans eventually reach a state of complete empathy, reaching the state of unity between God and man. Here, truth means understanding the cause-and-effect relationships of all things in the universe and reaching the state of omniscience, goodness means discovering the larger cosmic self and understanding the unity (love) between all smaller selves, losing the concept of individuality and reaching the concept of the whole, and beauty means the harmonization of the sublime cosmic information through qi and expressing it as a balanced and beautiful phenomenon. The entirety of the above virtues of truth, goodness, and beauty is called talent, and ultimately, as humans continue to accumulate talents throughout their lives, they reach perfection when their talents reach the level of gods. From this perspective, science, philosophy, arts, physical education, and religion are all tools for cultivating our talents. Science and philosophy mainly pursue the virtue of truth, arts, physical education place great emphasis on the virtue of beauty, and religion places great emphasis on the virtue of goodness, so perfection is not achieved by doing just one of them. In order for humans to reach perfection, \r\nthey must master science, philosophy, arts, physical education, and religion, and transcend them to harmonize and realize truth, goodness, and beauty as one whole, not individually. Here, omniology is the final stage of anthropology that transcends the dimensions of science, philosophy, arts, physical education, and religion and reaches perfection in its entirety.\r\nA wise man of India once said, \"There is no one more pitiful than a person who does not go to church when he is young, and there is no one more pitiful than a person who goes to church when he grows up.\" \r\nThis means that it is truly pitiful for ordinary people of low standards not to enter into a religious life that emphasizes a righteous and truthful life, and that after diligently practicing their faith and fully understanding the teachings of the clergy, they should achieve a level of human perfection that transcends religion, but those who cannot break away from church life without much development are also pitiful people. So in the end, it is difficult for us to reach the level of perfection in a limited field such as science, philosophy, arts, physical education, or religion, and in other words, when we reach the level of perfection in one field, \r\nwe will reach a stage where all fields are understood as one big whole without boundaries, and this level is omniology. This state of omniology is the final destination that we will eventually reach if we continue to explore science, philosophy, arts, physical education, and religion, but learning omniology itself is also a shortcut to human education that will allow us to reach perfection faster than learning any other field. \r\nOf course, religion also contains the truth of the vast universe, but it is unfortunate that the explanation of its doctrines is so abstract and metaphorical that it is not easily understood and misunderstood by the masses who have received modern education. \r\nFor example, the words God, love, grace, sin, devil, holy spirit, light, etc. in the Bible, or the expressions of metaphorical sentences, are expressed in different concepts by everyone who hears them, so if there are 100 people who read a verse of the Bible or listen to a pastor's sermon, all 100 of them will perceive it with different concepts. Even if you have a long religious life, you will continue to live like a frog in a well of your own fixed concepts without any human development. Therefore, the life of faith must be noble, and one must continue to reform oneself by listening to the sermons of a truly enlightened clergyman, coming into contact with his life, and accepting shocking new truths. \r\nWhere can one find such a level of clergyman, and how many believers are ready to accept such shocks?! Many people are receptive to familiar and pleasant words, but they are resistant to shocking new facts.\r\nHowever, the providence of nature is that there is nothing to learn from words that are familiar and pleasant to our ears. Only when we accept shocking new facts and assimilate them into our own, we gain true learning. \r\nAnd this nature, including us, is constantly changing, creating myriad forms, with visible and invisible parts, overall principles and individual diversity interlocking, \r\nso if we are obsessed with minor phenomena, we will lose our minds in the infinite diversity and will not be able to grasp the great principles. Also, if we try to understand the great principles without understanding the minor phenomena, we will be like grasping at clouds and will not be able to establish an accurate system. Therefore, in omniology, the basic principles of natural science known to everyone in the world are scientifically, logically, and factually explained from the overall principles to minor phenomena, so if we discard all existing concepts and accept them with a pure heart, we will be able to understand all of the natural phenomena without any room for misunderstanding (fin)",
