Bitcoin is one of the first new complete network graphs that have been deployed on a wide scale. It is important in that it is also innovative in reducing the amount of data transmitted over such network through the use of hash updates. Bitcoin's alert testing system allows the transmission of transactions and blocks in a way that is incredibly easy to scale. Unlike a standard small world network where a lot of network chatter leads to high levels of wasted bandwidth, the use of hash based validations to check for the existence of transactions and blocks reduces the amount of network traffic actually sent. This allows bitcoin to scale more efficiently than any mesh based network while simultaneously exhibiting the security and resilience of a full small world network.\r\n\r\nIn this presentation, Dr. Craig Wright will demonstrate how simple it is to compromise a mesh based network and how this cannot occur within bitcoin due to the nature of the network structure.",
