Private collection.\r\n(this was inspired, unplanned so this was an improvisational painting, by the story of Daruma & the disciple who'd cut off his own arm, Rembrandt van Rijn's oil work,  The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Tulp, with a bit of self-indulgent autobiography, since I have a fused radius & ulna at my left elbow, I began studying at university, anatomical illustration, eventually preferring the aesthetic of Spirit & abstraction as modus of personal style & emergent phenomena as praxia.  I actually painted in all of the vivisection detail of the skeletal, vascular, neuromuscular whathaveyous in the forearm at the foreground of that painting, but I chose to cover it for effects of camera obscura & how every bit of information put into a painting, no matter how many layers covered up, still informs the surface and the audience\u2014 even if they don't actually know it's there because they cannot see it, it still has effects\u2014 nature of reality & apperception stuff.)",
